We recently completed a solid panel shutter installation in Wymondham — a Crisp Linen shutter fitted to a landing window.
Why solid panel?
Not every shutter has louvres. Solid panel shutters are timber panels that open and close like small internal doors. When they are shut, they give a far more complete cover over the glass than a louvred shutter — useful for privacy, for darker rooms at night, and for a traditional look.
Crisp Linen is a soft off-white that sits comfortably against plain painted walls, so the shutter reads as part of the joinery rather than a window covering.
