We recently completed a bay window shutter installation in Lowdham, Nottinghamshire — Silk White plantation shutters with 76mm louvres and silent tilt, replacing Roman blinds on a box bay.
Before
The bay was dressed with three fabric Roman blinds. They gave basic shading, but when raised they sat in folds across the top of each window, and when lowered they blocked the light completely.
After
Shutters were fitted to each section of the bay, inside the reveal. Silent tilt keeps the panel faces clean with no visible rod, and 76mm louvres let the room move from fully private to bright and open with a simple tilt.
