We recently completed a bedroom shutter installation in Leicester — Pure White plantation shutters on a three-panel window, specified with 76mm louvres, hidden tilt, split tilt and matching hinges.
The spec
Hidden tilt takes the rod off the face of the panel, so the shutters read as a clean set of louvres beside the bed. Split tilt lets the upper and lower louvres move independently: privacy at pillow height, daylight above. 76mm louvres open the view more than a narrow blade without looking oversized on a window of this width.
