A recent bay window installation featuring bespoke café-height shutters. The perfect balance of privacy, light and style — ideal for making the most of a beautiful bay window.
Why café-height on a bay?
Café-style shutters cover the lower portion of the glass only. That keeps sofa-height views private while the top stays open for daylight — and on a period bay it leaves decorative upper glazing on show.
For this project we fitted white café-height panels across a five-sided bay with leaded lights in the upper panes. The shutters follow the angles of the bay so each leaf sits flush in its reveal.

Key details:
- Bespoke café-height white plantation shutters on a bay
- Lower privacy, open daylight above the mid line
- Upper leaded glass left clear
- Measured, manufactured and fitted by our own team
