We recently completed a shutter installation in Loughborough for a returning customer — white tier-on-tier plantation shutters on a three-sided bay, set against deep plum walls and period moulding.
The brief
Bay windows need panels that follow every angle of the reveal. This Loughborough home also needed flexible privacy on a garden-facing bay: keep the lower half covered at sofa height while opening the tops for trees and daylight. Tier-on-tier was the right layout — separate upper and lower panels on each leaf of the bay.
After
White tier-on-tier sets were fitted across the centre and side panes. Tops can fold open while the bottoms stay closed, or both tiers stay shut with louvres adjusted for soft light.
