We recently completed a living-room shutter installation in Langham — Pure White Boston shutters on a wide multi-panel casement, specified with 76mm louvres and hidden split tilts.
The brief
This front living-room window needed a fitted cover that still let daylight in without a visible tilt rod across every slat. Boston in Pure White was the right range: hardwood-panel construction with a clean face, and split tilt so the lower louvres can close for sofa-height privacy while the tops stay open for the street view.

The install
Five white panels were fitted across the opening against soft blue walls. Louvres sit partly open here — soft daylight in, privacy retained at sitting height. Hidden tilt keeps the panel faces tidy; split tilt still gives independent upper and lower control without a full tier-on-tier layout.
